Boyne Tannum Bowls Club – a welcoming and friendly community bowling club
Boyne Island and Tannum Sands are twin towns located about 15 kilometers south of Gladstone in central Queensland, a beautiful area at the Great Barrier Reef’s southern gateway. Boyne Tannum, known locally as BITS, lies adjacent to the Boyne river in open parkland that also includes our local sports fields and golf club.
The club has an excellent Tifdwarf green which we believe is the best grass playing surface in the district, and a new array of LED lights for night time play. Our clubhouse is air-conditioned, has a fully licensed bar and comfortably accommodates patrons for all types of social events. We are a destination club for our many regular annual interstate visitors and are always pleased to greet old and new friends.
